Our Sliding Scale for Students couldn’t be simpler. If you receive financial assistance at your school, you probably qualify. All you have to do is calculate your total grant in aid as a percentage of your school’s Total Program Cost. All you need to do is send us one document from your school’s financial aid office demonstrating the grants you receive and the total cost of your school, so that we can verify the percentage.
That’s it. We don’t make you go through some ridiculous process to qualify. No arbitrary decisions, no games, no uncertainty, no delays, and not a lot of hassle.
PLEASE NOTE:
- We count only need-based grants and scholarships; not merit rewards, loans, or work-study.
- Total Program Cost means Tuition + Room & Board (as defined by your school – even if you live off-campus). If you’re not certain, your school’s financial aid office will have the figures.
- The Sliding-Scale applies only to students who are (1) paying for their own Course, or (2) whose families are paying. If a firm, organization, or institution is paying for your Course or reimbursing you, then please contact us for more detail.
- The Sliding-Scale cannot be combined with other promotions unless specified.
- LAW Methods is the sole arbiter of eligibility for our Sliding-Scale Tuition. Terms, condition, and prices are subject to change without notice.
Our Sliding Scale Tuition couldn’t be simpler. Your tuition is based on your gross income. Just look at your most recent (or projected) US Income Tax Form 1040 (or 1040A, 1040EZ), and look for the line with Gross Income. Your tuition will correspond to the chart above.
That’s it. We don’t make you go through some ridiculous process to qualify. No arbitrary decisions, no games, no uncertainty, no delays, and not a lot of hassle.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Only for single persons who have no dependents and who are not dependent upon anyone else (such as parents or trust funds).
- Only for persons paying for his/her own Course.
- Please contact us if your household size is greater than 1 and/or if you are classed as someone else’s dependent and/or if someone else is paying for this Course or reimbursing you for its cost.
